I do agree that PowerPC is not a all rounded solution for Desktop PC. (Macintosh, Amiga, Atari, BeBox, nearly all of them are dead fate) As you can see, the heart of several sucessful electronic products are actually PowerPC, e.g. Cisco Routers, TiVO etc. I don’t see PowerPC is a fading architecture.
